Scuba Diving in Carboneras

  • Carboneras is a fishing village nestled in the spectacular natural park of Cabo de Gata, near Almeria. It has white beaches, volcanic mountains and crystal clear waters full of marine life.
  • You can not miss to dive in San Andres Island, 400 meters from the coast. It’s a small island of volcanic origin apparently uninhabited, but just take a look under the surface to discover a world full of life. With a large portion of the seabed covered by posidonia seagrass, there are many marine species in these waters, including barracudas, groupers, sea breams, triggerfish but also natural formations like caves in the rocks.
  • Here you will find many dive sites where to practice scuba diving, if you are a beginner, within just a few meters depth you will be able to enjoy a great variety of colors and fishes, in fact, the visibility here is generally very good.
